To find where the credit on a customer's account is from, you'll first need to find the credit package ID. To get the ID:
Pull up the customer's account.
Click Credits.
Click Active or Expired to find the specific credit you're investigating.
Identify the specific credit you're investigating. The credit ID is to the right of the credit's name.
Once you have the credit package ID, you'll want to run one of these reports:
Finance > Credit Expiration Details if the credit is expired.
Finance > Credit Usage Details if the customer used the credit.
Marketing > Outstanding Credits if the credit is still active and available for the customer to use.
When you have the report that you need to use:
Set the date range to when the customer created their account to today.
Export the report.
Use the Credit Package ID column to filter for the credit package ID for the credit you're investigating.
The Source Type column will list where the credit came from.
Purchase - credit was purchased by the customer in Mariana Tek.
Complimentary - credit was added to the customer's account in Mariana Tek by an employee using the "Give Credits" feature.
Gift - credit was added to the customer's account by redeeming a credit gift card on the customer's account.
Migrated - credit was migrated from your previous platform.
