Deleting a membership contract or credit package is a way to remove old payment options that are no longer relevant to your brand. Deleting a membership contract or credit package is not the same as making it inactive.
Inactive membership contracts or credits packages can be reactivated to sell. A deleted membership contract or credit package is removed from your platform and will no longer be in your system.
Once a membership contract or credit package is deleted, it can not be undone.
System Impact
Deleting a membership contract or credit package will not impact customers who have already been sold that payment option. The membership or credit will continue to operate as expected.
Deleting a membership contract or credit package will also have no impact on reporting since Mariana Tek reports focus on already sold memberships and credits.
Discounts:
Deleted credit packages will be removed from discounts they are associated with. If the discount only applies to the sole deleted credit package, that discount will be made inactive.
Deleted membership contracts will persist in associated discounts to ensure recurring discounts can still be applied to sold memberships and membership holders still receive discounts.
Promotions
Promotions that apply to a deleted membership contract or credit package will be deleted and removed from buy pages.
Buy Pages
A deleted membership contract or credit package will be removed from a buy page.
Credit Gift Cards
Any email or physical credit gift card will be deleted and removed from the buy pages if the associated credit package is deleted.
