What is an Agreement Template?

Agreement templates correspond to the fees charged by the franchisor as written within the Franchise Agreement.

Create a New Fee Agreement

To create a new Agreement Template, navigate to Agreement Templates in the top navigation > New Template.

Insert a Template Name and click Add Fees. From here, you can select which Fees you want to apply to the template by placing a checkmark on each one, or you can create a new fee. There is no limit on how many fees can be applied to a template.

For each fee, you can select Recurring Revenue Based or Recurring Flat Fee for the Billing type.


Recurring Revenue-Based Fee

For Recurring Revenue Based, complete the following fields:

  • Fee Amount

    • The field will use the greater amount of a percentage or a flat dollar fee

  • Billing Cycle Cadence

    • Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually, or Daily

  • Billing Cycle Begins On

  • Fee Collection

    • When should funds be collected relative to the billing cycle

  • Fee Start Date

    • The Fee Start Date cannot be set to a past date. It must be today or later.

Recurring Flat Fee

For Recurring Flat Fee, complete the following fields:

  • Fee Amount

  • Billing At

    • Start or End Date

  • Billing Cycle Cadence

    • Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Annually, or Daily

  • Billing Cycle Begins On

  • Fee Collection

    • When should funds be collected relative to the billing cycle

  • Fee Start Date

    • The Fee Start Date cannot be set to a past date. It must be today or later.
