Follow the steps below to register your WisePOS E Terminal to process transactions through your POS:
Log into your Mariana Tek admin site on your computer.
Select Configuration > Readers > Register a Reader.
Select your location and click Next.
Verify:
WisePOS E Terminal is plugged in and/or charged.
WisePOS E Terminal is connected to Wi-FI.
Note the 5-digit code on your admin screen.
If the terminal doesn't request the 5-digit code and offers to generate a pairing code, skip to Step 8.
Swipe right to unlock your terminal's screen.
Tap Settings and enter the 5-digit code.
When the list of admin options appears on the terminal's screen, select Generate Pairing Code.
Type in the pairing code into the admin and select Next.
Name the reader for easy recognition > select Next to begin the syncing process (please be patient while the system pairs and updates π ).
Once the pairing completes, select Finish.
To verify the successful activation of your POS Terminal, click View (next to your location) and view the named reader.
When registration is complete, the terminal will remain on the Stripe home screen (pictured below) until needed during checkout in Admin POS.
The readers receive updates automatically from Stripe when not in use. Leave your reader connected to power to receive automatic software updates. This ensures that updates happen at midnight (in the timezone of the assigned location) to avoid interruption to sales.
