Are waivers sent to customers after signing?

For studios located in California, Xplor Growth waivers will be automatically sent to the customer upon receipt of their signature. If your studio does not use Xplor Growth waivers and is interested in benefiting from this feature, please contact support or your CSM.

This feature will apply to all existing Xplor Growth waivers, and they do not need to be recreated.


Email Details

The waiver will be sent as a PDF attached to a transactional email. Currently, the email can't be customized. The email will include the following information:

  • Subject: "Here’s a copy of your signed waiver at [Studio Name]"

  • From: Studio’s email address

  • Reply-to: Studio’s email address

  • Body: Dear [Customer Name], Attached is a copy of your signed waiver at [Studio Name]

If the customer deletes the email or existing members in CA who have already signed the waiver wish to have a copy, use a scheduled email with a direct URL.


Why California Only

This feature is required to be compliant with California laws.

While there are no immediate plans to launch in other states, we will continue monitoring similar legislation nationwide and adjust our plans as needed.

Opt-Out

This feature is enabled by default for all CA locations. To opt out, contact support to complete a release statement.

If the feature is turned off at your studio, you’re still responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws.
