Mariana Tek allows employees to hold spots in a class. These holds show as reserved on the admin site but are not available to customers until released, like a “ghost reservation” that can be removed.

Holds are useful to reserve spots for a customer’s guests or other special cases.

The method differs depending on whether the class layout is "pick a spot" or "first come first serve".

Pick-A-Spot Layout

Navigate to the class where you want to make a spot hold. There must be an empty spot available.

Locate an open spot (one labeled “Reserve” or without a name).

  • In list view, click the ellipses (…) on the right side of the spot.

  • In map view, simply click the open spot.

Click Hold Spot to prevent customers from reserving this spot.

Admin users can still reserve a held spot for a customer.

First Come First Serve Layout

Go to the class where you want to hold a spot. There must be at least one empty spot available.

On the class management bar, click the "+" button next to Holds to add a hold. Each click increases the number of held spots by one.

To release a hold, click the "- button" next to Holds to decrease the number of held spots.
