What are Class Tags?

Class tags specify which credits and memberships can be booked into that particular class.

Every class must have at least one Class Tag. These tags control which memberships or credits can be used to book the class. To ensure customers can book the right classes, the class and the membership/credit must share at least one matching tag.

To provide an example, your studio offers “Off-Peak” classes and sells discounted ($15/each) credit packages that can only be used to book into “Off-Peak” classes.

There are three steps in the process:

  1. Creating a Class Tag

  2. Applying the Tag to a Membership or Credit Type

  3. Applying the Tag to a class

Creating a New Class Tag

Class Tags are customized to your studio.

If you'd like to make any changes or additions to your Class Tags, send a message to support@marianatek.com.

Adding a Class Tag to Membership/Credit Type

Navigate to Products > Membership/Credits > Membership/Credit Type. Edit or create a new Type

class tags

Under Class Tags, select the tags for the classes where the membership/credit can be used.

Click Save.

Adding/Editing a Class Tag to a class

Go to the Schedule and create a class or edit an existing class. Use the Class Tag dropdown to make any changes.

If you change the Class Tag on a class that already has reservations in the class, the reservations that have already been made will remain in the class. The new class tag will only affect new reservations.
