A promotion is an item that you can add to the buy page. It's comprised of a discount and product(s). Benefits of using a promotion include:
Limit who can purchase a product, and how many times they can check out a cart with that product.
Discounts and eligibility are easily and immediately displayed on the buy page
Control the timing of when a promotion is visible on the buy page
When you add a promotion to the buy page, the promotion will only appear on the buy page to customers when:
They're not logged in to your website and app(s).
They're eligible to get the discount attached to the promotion.
The discount date and time are active
The promotion will not appear on the buy page for customers when:
They're not eligible to get the discount.
They reached the limit to get the discount.
The discount date and time has expired
A promotion will appear to customers based on the settings for the discount that your promotion is connected to.
If the discount is configured as "Automatic," the customer sees the promotion on their buy page AND automatically receives the discounted price during checkout (so long as they are eligible for the discount). With a "Discount Code," customers who are eligible for the discount can purchase the promotion at the regular price. However, they only received the discounted price by entering the code.

Please include in your email:
1) the URL to the credit/membership
2) URL to the associated discount
3) name of the promotion
Example: You have a first-timer discount that allows first-timers to get a free credit, and we configured the promotion for your first-timer discount and associated credit package.
When you add the promotion to the buy page, the promotion will only appear to customers who aren't logged in to your website and your first-time customers.
