Mariana Tek defers to the most recently saved card for recurring fees.

If a customer would like all recurring charges on a previously saved card and all other charges on the newest saved card, the customer must delete the previously saved card and re-add it to their account, so it is now the most recent card on file. The most recently added credit card will appear at the top of Payment Methods on their account:

Here is an example for further clarification:

If a customer has:

  • Card A was added first

  • Card B was added last

And would like:

  • Membership charges on Card A

  • All other charges (i.e. add-ons, quick sale charges, and purchases on the buy page) on Card B

Then, the customer must:

  • Delete Card A

  • Re-add Card A

So that:

  • Card B is now saved first

  • Card A is now saved last

Then, all recurring charges will be rung up on Card A, and the customer can choose to use either Card A or Card B for all other transactions.
