From time to time, Google will require you to update information on your Play Store account to be in compliance with the latest Play Store guidelines. Recently, Google has been working towards making positive changes in online data safety. With these changes, Google is now showing user's exactly how their data is being used in the apps they install on their devices.

If your account needs to make updates to support this new feature, the admin accounts that are linked to your Google Play Store instance will receive an email with instructions on how to complete this. The title of the email will look similar to "Submit your Data safety form before February".

To assist in this effort, Mariana Tek is providing the following instructions for how to update your app's "App content" settings. Prior to going through the instructions, log into http://play.google.com/console/ and click on your Mariana Tek app. In the left hand side panel, find the Policy section and click "App content".

Proceed with the instructions below:

  1. In the Dashboard, find the Data Safety section and click into it.

    1. In the Overview section click Next

    2. In the Data collection and security section, provide the follow answer for the four questions: Yes, Yes, Yes, No. Then click Next

    3. In the Data types section fill out the following information per section. If a section is not listed, no items need to be added. After all sections below are complete, click Next
