Employees with the correct permission can modify the membership price for all future payments or the next interval.

Update Price

In the Customer account, go to Membership > click the ellipses (...) > Update Price.

The Update Price modal will get the following options:

  • Update Price For: Next Payment or All Future Payments

  • New Price

  • Include Future Automatic Discounts: On or off

    • By default, automatic discounts will not be applied to the updated price.

  • Note: Required

Membership History

To view any price adjustment history, go to the View Details.

Bill on Start Memberships

If you sell a membership with the first interval that has not been charged yet because it is set to Bill on Start, any price adjustment will never apply to the first payment. Any post-sale adjustments will never apply to the first payment, even if it is set to Bill on Start, it will only apply to renewals.

Reporting

When adjusting the membership price for All Payments, this adjustment will be reflected in your membership fees forecast estimation and your membership details report. When adjusting the membership price for only the next payment, this adjustment will NOT be reflected in your membership fees forecast estimation and your membership details report.

Multiple Price Adjustments

If making a price update after it has already been adjusted, be aware of the next payment date for a membership.

For example, if a user updates the Next Payment price to be $50 but then a user also updates "All Future Payments" on that same membership to be $40 before that next payment interval processes, the next interval price will be $40 instead of $50.
