Jebra supports two types of tier-based incentive pay, which are described in this blog post.
The default Bonus Type setting is ladder-based, which we call Per Tier bonuses.
To select a threshold-based bonus instead, choose Max Activated Tier from the settings page.
Payroll Settings
By default, only Checked-In Reservations are included for bonus calculations.
You can also include any of the following: Graced No Shows, Penalty No Shows, Standard Cancellations, Graced Cancellations, and Penalty Cancellations.
Layout Tiers
The default setting is no tier-based incentives. To edit this, click on the pencil icon. You can then create as many tiers as required.
The example shows 3 tiers, where:
Tier 1 bonus is triggered when 4 people reserve the class.
Tier 2 bonus is triggered when 8 people reserve the class.
Tier 3 bonus is triggered when 12 people reserve the class.
You can also create Overrides. For example, if there is a layout (e.g., Virtual Class) in which instructors do not receive a bonus, create an override with a single tier that is set to a very large number (larger than class capacity).
Worker Bonuses
The default setting is no tier-based incentives. This will apply to all workers unless you create a Worker Override in this tab.
If a single bonus structure applies to all or the majority of your workers, use this as a default. In the example:
When Tier 1 is triggered, the bonus is $2/person.
When Tier 2 is triggered, the bonus is $3/person.
When Tier 3 is triggered, the bonus is $4/person.
You can also create Worker Overrides for workers who receive a different bonus structure. In the example, Brock Lee only receives a bonus when Tier 3 is triggered.
