Are Waivers required to be signed to check-in via Kiosk Mode?

Written by Jason Wiese

If a customer has a missing waiver and tries to check in via Kiosk Mode, the system will prompt them to see a studio employee and complete the missing waiver.

Additionally, the system will display a list of missing waivers, and a warning icon will reappear on the customer’s next reservation until the waivers are signed.

Studio employees can help complete the waiver or override and check them in through Admin. To streamline the process further, enable specific role permissions for staff without full admin access, allowing them to acknowledge waivers on behalf of customers. This ensures that instructors or other staff can assist with check-ins efficiently. Another proactive solution is to create a QR code that directs customers to the login page, where they can complete the required waivers on the spot. Displaying this QR code at the front desk can help ensure waivers are signed promptly.

For multi-location studios, customers must complete the waiver at their home location. If they complete the waiver at another location, customers will continue to be prompted to complete it at their home location.
