Membership Categories help manage and report on membership contracts, specifically across multiple locations. Membership Categories are useful for:

  • Making quicker edits

  • Streamline setup for new studio locations

  • View performances across all locations

This feature is currently in beta and is expected to be generally available soon.

Create a Membership Category

Go to Products > Memberships > Contracts > Manage Categories.

Select Create Category > insert name > Save.

Under Manage Categories, you can edit the name and delete any existing Categories.

If you edit the Category name, it will replace the previous name in all reporting.

Assigning a Contract to a Category

There are two ways to assign a Membership Contract to a Category.

From the Contract tab

Place a check next to the contract > Move > select the category.

From the Contract Settings

When editing or creating a new Contract, use the Membership Category field.

If there are no categories, all contracts will be grouped under Uncategorized Memberships.

Table Data

The Membership Categories will display the following data for each Contract. Click in the field to make immediate updates.

  • Name: Membership Contract name

    • For reporting purposes, only edit for typos.

  • Location (Non-Editable): The location(s) that the membership contract is assigned to

    • If assigned more than one location, hover to reveal the list

  • Price: Price of the Membership Contract

    • If there are multiple currencies, hover on the price to reveal all prices and modify the specific currency.

  • Purchase Agreement: Purchase agreement(s) assigned to the membership contract

  • Membership Type

    • Updating the Type will update the location and purchase agreement.

  • Status Toggle: Active/Inactive

Open Contract

To open the Membership Contract settings, hover over the contract > click the expand icon.

Bulk Edits

The following actions can be done for multiple contracts. Place a check by each Contract or Membership Category and select the action.

  • Move: Change the Membership Category.

  • Duplicate

  • Delete

Reporting
