The Frozen Memberships - Details report surfaces all membership freezes (including memberships migrated over as frozen) configured in the system (past, present, and future) and is particularly useful for investigation purposes. Some examples include:

  • Gathering information on why a customer's renewal date changed due to membership freezes.

  • Gathering information on the average amount of time for frozen memberships.

  • Gathering information on potential customer churn.

  • Tracking freezes configured for specific customers (if your studio's policy is to charge membership freeze fees).

  • Checking to see who froze a customer's membership.

If you would like to see a more detailed report on memberships that are currently frozen, you'll want to view the Frozen Memberships - Current report.

Pulling up the Report

  1. Navigate to Reports from the left panel > Marketing > View from the Frozen Memberships - Details option.

  2. Specify the time frame from the date picker and apply any additional filters.

The report will populate all membership freezes within the date specified based on the Reactivation Date of the frozen memberships.

Understanding the Report

The Frozen Memberships Details report includes 14 data fields:

  1. Customer Name

  2. Customer Email

  3. Freeze Start Date: When the freeze is/was set to start.

  4. Freeze End Date: When the freeze is/was set to reactivate.

  5. Freeze End Time: Timestamps are based on the membership purchase location--the time zone of the purchase location is inherited for this report.

    1. This is dependent on how the membership was frozen. If the membership is frozen through a bulk membership freeze by Mariana Tek, the membership will reactivate at midnight (UTC) on the chosen reactivation date.

  6. Renewal Currency: You can filter the report by currency to surface all frozen membership history for the specified currency.

  7. Renewal Rate: Full rate of the membership, excluding any discounts.

  8. Membership Contract: Name of the contract.

  9. Purchase Location: Location of the purchased membership.

  10. Current Status: Current status of the membership.

  11. Configured By: Name of the employee who configured the membership freeze.

  12. Configured On Date: When the membership freeze was configured.

  13. Updated On Date: When the membership freeze was last updated. This includes any extensions or if a frozen membership is reactivated.

    1. Once a frozen membership reactivates, the Updated On Date automatically updates to match the reactivation date, and you will lose any record of freeze extensions.

  14. Membership Instance ID: To differentiate when a customer has multiple memberships on their account.
