How do I use the Membership Recurring Fee Forecast - Summary report?

The Membership Recurring Fee Forecast - Summary report surfaces a summary of the forecasted membership renewal payments per membership contract. All Finance reports are in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).

This report is useful for:

  • Viewing a high-level overview of the forecasted membership renewal payments and the associated revenue.

This report is an aggregate of the details report, membership fees will show up in this report based on the local time of their purchase location.

  • This report will not:

    • Generate a list of membership renewal payments that the system should have attempted in the past.

    • Forecast potential discounts applied to the renewal fees.


Pulling up the Report

  1. Navigate to Reports from the left panel > Finance > Membership Recurring Fees Forecast - Summary > View.

  2. Specify the time frame from the date picker (today to a future date or a future date to another future date).

  3. Apply any additional filters.


Understanding the Report

The Membership Recurring Fees Forecast - Summary report includes 5 data fields:

  1. Membership Type: The membership type name (determines the usage of a membership contract).

  2. Membership Contract: The membership contract name (determines the payment terms of a membership contract).

  3. Forecasted Charges: Number of forecasted charges within the selected time frame.

  4. Currency: Based on the purchase location.

  5. Forecasted Revenue: The forecasted revenue within the selected time frame for the membership type and contract.

The rows include each membership type and contract, along with how much revenue to expect and the number of transactions in the date range selected.
