The Sales by Product Type report surfaces total sales by product type within a specified date range.

This report is useful for:

  • Investigating which product types bring in the most revenue

  • Viewing how much of the studio's revenue comes from memberships

  • Viewing how much of the studio's revenue comes from penalty fees

  • Viewing how much of the studio's revenue comes from gift card sales

Pulling up the Report

  1. Navigate to Reports from the left panel > Sales > Sales by Product Type > View.

  2. Specify the time frame from the date picker.

The date filter is based on local time, and the populated data is dependent on the Transaction Date for a specified time frame, not the Order Date.

Apply any additional filters.

  • Selecting multiple options within one filter type uses OR logic.

    • E.g., Product Type > Clothing and Accessories shows orders for clothing OR accessories

  • Selecting options across different filter types uses AND logic.

    • E.g., Product Type > Clothing and Accessories AND Fulfillment Location > Santa Monica shows clothing or accessories at Santa Monica
