When the name of a credit package is updated, the effects of the change vary across the platform. Refer to the information below to see how the name change affects reports, the customer account view, reservations, and credit package data.

* When a gift card is redeemed, it appears in the customer’s account with the name of the credit type instead of the credit package name that was tied to the gift card.

** Two rows will appear for the product in the Sales by Product report:

  • One row for the previously named credit package and the sales numbers during the time that the package was named as such.

  • Another row for the updated, currently configured credit package and the sales numbers for the credit package after the update.


Customer Account View

The name of the credit package listed in the Credits section does not change. Additionally, when looking at Reservations in the customer account view, the credit package name does not change.


Reservations

The credit package name that surfaced in the payment options drop-down menu does not change. Additionally, from the roster view, the credit package name does not change when hovering over the credit details.


Credit Package Data

The credit package ID does not change when the name of the credit package is updated.
