How can I change ownership of my account?

If your studio changes ownership—whether by sale or some other reason—you’ll need to submit a change in ownership form to transfer the Mariana Tek account to the new owner. Please go here to submit your change in ownership request. Additionally, please note that a minimum of two weeks’ notice is required to initiate the ownership change process.

If you are a franchise owner, contact your HQ before completing the form.

Change in Ownership Process

When a studio changes ownership, the current (or previous) owner must initiate the transfer by completing the Change in Ownership form.

Required Steps

  1. Submit the Change in Ownership Form

    1. This must be completed by the current/previous owner.

  2. Provide Required Documents

    1. Include the Termination and Consent to Release Data Agreement signed by the current owner, New Terms of Service signed by the new owner, and a Bill of Sale (ensure it is current and properly signed).

  3. Share the New Legal Business Name

    1. Mariana Tek will use this to update your account records.

What to Expect

  • The ownership change process can take a few weeks to complete.

  • Once the form is submitted, the Mariana Tek support team will:

    • Contact the new owner to set up a new Stripe Connect Express account (for payment processing).

    • Request a new Stripe Direct Billing account (for subscription billing).

After you submit your change in ownership request, our Support Team will be in touch to continue this process.
