How do I complete a sale for a new customer without an account?

When a customer wants to make a purchase but does not have an account, you have two options:

  1. Create a new account for the customer, allowing the transaction to be tracked accurately.

  2. Use a studio-specific walk-in account if the customer prefers not to create an account.

Customers purchasing credits or memberships must create their account. Walk-in or shared accounts cannot be used for these purchase types.


Studio-specific Walk-in Account

We highly recommend creating a dedicated walk-in customer account for each studio location. This makes it easier to track and report on non-member transactions.

Example of a walk-in account:

  • First Name: Walk-in

  • Last Name: Williamstown

  • Email: walkin@yourstudiohere.com
    (Note: The email does not need to be active to use the account.)

Do not save any personal or payment information under the walk-in account.


Processing a Walk-In Purchase

  1. Click the POS button in the top-right corner of the screen.

  2. On the Find User screen:

    • If the customer wants to create an account, click "New Customer".

    • Fill in the required fields and click "Create Account" to proceed with the sale.

  3. If the customer does not want to create an account:

    • Use your studio’s designated walk-in account instead of the "Walk-In Sale" button.

  4. Select the product(s) for purchase.

    • Be sure to include any applicable variant information (e.g., size, color, session type).

  5. Proceed to checkout and enter the customer’s payment information.
