In Mariana Tek, forgiving a penalty due to a late cancel or no-show fee is referred to as a "grace cancel" or "grace no-show".
To "grace cancel" or "grace no-show" a customer, begin by pulling up the customer's reservation either in their profile or within the roster itself.
If the class has yet to begin, you'll see you have the ability to "Cancel reservation".
If the class has begun or has ended, "Cancel reservation" will no longer appear, and "Mark as No Show" will be listed instead.
Clicking either of these will prompt a pop-up box to appear displaying the penalty for the late cancellation or no-show. You must then confirm the action by selecting whether to assess the penalty or not.
If you want to assess the penalty, select "Yes, cancel reservation".
If you want to cancel the reservation or mark the customer as a no-show without assessing the fee, select "Yes, cancel without fee".
Late Cancels and No-shows can't be removed from a customer's reservation history. Penalties can be refunded or you can provide them a complimentary credit but the reservation will still show the penalty.
You must have the appropriate permission to "grace cancel" or "grace no-show". If you do not see the option for "Yes, cancel without fee" your role does not allow you permission to do so. If you have questions about this, please reach out to your manager or someone with a higher role.
