Canadian customers can use their Interac debit card to pay for their purchases.
While customers can use their Interac card for regular purchases, it can not be used for memberships with installments/auto-renewing. Interac cards shouldn't be saved to a customer's account because of their strict/limited usage capabilities.
Interac cards cannot be manually entered into the point of sale and can only be used with a Stripe reader. The card will process even without an expiry date or CVV.
Refunds
Refunds can be processed back to the Interac card if the purchase was made:
on your website
on your mobile app(s)
on your Mariana Admin with a manually entered Interac card
If a customer is in the studio and uses their Interac card with your Stripe credit card reader, their purchase can only be refunded to their account as an account balance. Their purchase will not be eligible for a refund to their Interac card.
Walk-Ins
Interac cards can be utilized to complete a purchase if using the studio-assigned “Walk-In” customer account.
Interac cards cannot be used to complete a purchase if using the Walk-In button.
