Unlike credit packages, you’re unable to create a physical and email gift card version of a membership. To solve this when a customer wants to gift their family or friend with a membership, you’ll want to create a gift card for a dollar amount.
Once you’ve created a gift card with a dollar amount that covers one month of membership fees, you’ll sell the gift card to the customer. The customer’s family or friend will then redeem the gift card to their account. If they are purchasing a membership for the first time, they’ll apply the account balance during the check out process for their membership. If they already have a membership, they’ll want to set their account to use account balance for recurring fees. When their next renewal payment is processed, the system will use the account balance to cover the renewal fee.
