How do I use the Gift Cards report?

The Gift Cards report surfaces all information on gift cards sold (for both email and physical gift cards). This report is useful for:

  • Locating lost gift card redemption codes.

  • Confirming if and when a gift card was redeemed.

  • Viewing information on who applied the redemption code and the customer's account where the code was redeemed.


Pulling up the Report

  1. Navigate to Reports from the left panel > Sales > Gift Cards > View.

  2. Specify the time frame from the date picker.

  3. Apply any additional filters.


Understanding the Report

The Gift Cards report includes:

  1. Gift Card Code: Code to redeem the gift card.

    1. Refer to this column when customers lose the redemption code.

  2. Date Sold: When the gift card was sold (month/date/year).

  3. Order Number

  4. Purchased By Customer ID: Customer ID of the person who bought the gift card.

  5. Purchased By: Name of the person who bought the gift card.

  6. Purchased By Customer Email: Email of the person who bought the gift card.

  7. Purchase Location: Studio location of the gift card purchase.

  8. Product: Product name.

  9. Gift Card Type: Physical Credit Gift Cards, Physical Gift Card, Email Credit Gift Cards, or Email Gift Cards

    1. Credit gift cards are for credit packages, while regular gift cards are for a dollar amount.

  10. Value: Monetary value of the product sold.

  11. Currency

  12. Redemption Date: When the card was redeemed (month/date/year).

  13. Redemption Broker: Name of the person who applied the redemption code.

  14. Redemption Broker Email: Email of the person who applied the redemption code.

  15. Account Added To Customer ID: Customer ID of the person who has either the account balance or credit package redeemed to their account.

  16. Account Added To: Name of the person who has either the account balance or credit package redeemed to their account.

  17. Account Added To Customer Email: Email of the person who has either the account balance or credit package redeemed to their account.

  18. Recipient Name: Name of the email gift card recipient.

  19. Recipient Email: Email of the email gift card recipient.

  20. Custom Message: Optional message inside email gift cards.

Migrated Gift Cards will not appear on this report, either before or after being redeemed.
