How do I create and modify a Pick-A-Spot layout?

Create a Pick-a-Spot Layout

The Pick-A-Spot (PAS) layout allows customers to select a specific spot in class.


Getting Started

Navigate to Configuration > Locations > Edit Classrooms.

Open an existing classroom or select New Classroom > title your new classroom > Save Changes. Locate the new classroom from your active class list > click the three-dot setting icon > Edit.

Under Layouts, select New Layout > Pick A Spot.


Creating the PAS Layout

From the new PAS Builder window, select Begin. Enter a unique layout title.

Specify the capacity (1-100) > Next.

Select the starting shape > Create Layout.

Customizing the Layout

  1. To move the layout around on your screen, press the space bar and click and drag the layout or use the arrow keys.

  2. To edit the layout name, click on the layout name > enter new text > hit "Enter."

  3. To edit a spot name, click on the spot number text and type up to 10 characters. Spot names MUST be unique.

  5. To edit a spot type, click on the spot and select an option from the dropdown menu.

  6. To edit a spot availability status, click on the spot and select the available/unavailable toggle.

  7. To change a spot tile placement, click and drag it around the grid.

  8. To change multiple spot tile placements, click each of them and drag them around the grid.

  9. To delete a spot, click and drag it over the trash icon.

  10. To add a new spot, drag a spot from the Configure Layout menu onto the grid.

  11. To make bulk edits, click outside of a spot and drag your mouse to multi-select spots.

  12. When finished, click Save and Close.

Duplicate Layout

To duplicate a layout, locate the classroom you'd like to edit > select Edit > locate the layout > ellipses (...) > Edit Layout.
