ClassPass spot assignments are not random – they are assigned in the order that the spots were created when the layout was built.

To guarantee ClassPass reservations are placed in specific spots (like the back row), you'll need to create a new PAS layout with a specific setup:

Start with the First Spot

Create a new PAS layout with 1 spot and assign it the highest number (e.g., Spot 15 if you have 15 total). Position this spot where you want CP reservations to go—typically in the back row.

Adding Spots in Reverse Order

Add additional spots one by one, assigning sequentially lower numbers (e.g., Spot 14, Spot 13...) as you go. Continue placing them in your preferred layout until you’ve reached Spot 1 at the front of the room.

ClassPass Reservations

If CP has access to 5 out of 15 total spots, they will be assigned the first 5 spots created, which are the highest-numbered spots on the layout. Because you created those in the back row, that’s where CP clients will be placed.

You must assign the new layout to all relevant classes and recurring series in your schedule.
