Creating layouts in Xplor Mariana Tek is essential for managing classroom capacity effectively. This guide focuses on creating First-Come-First-Serve (FCFS) layouts, which allow for flexible and efficient class management.
Capacities are determined by classroom layouts. To change capacity, create or duplicate a layout with the desired number of spots and assign it to the relevant classes. You cannot directly modify the capacity of an existing layout assigned to active classes.
To create a new First-Come-First-Serve layout for your classroom, navigate to Configuration > Locations > View next to the studio location.
Click Edit next to the classroom in which you want to add the new layout.
Click New Layout.
Alternatively, you can duplicate an existing layout to retain similar settings while adjusting capacity.
Choose First Come First Serve for your layout format.
Set the Layout Name and Capacity, and click Save Changes
To assign the new layout to a class: 1. Go to the class you want to update and click Edit Class > select the new layout > save the changes. If the class is part of a recurring series, you will be prompted to apply the changes to all future classes. For standalone classes, you must update each class individually.
