With Mobile Check-in, customers can check into classes from their iOS and Android Apps. Customers must allow the app access to their device’s location.

Enable Mobile Check-In

To activate mobile check-in, you must have Admin permissions. Go to Configuration > Mobile Check-In Settings > Enable Mobile Check-In for customers to check themselves into class using your mobile app.

Enable Mobile Check-In Reminders so your customers receive a push notification prompting them to check into class.

Use Disable Mobile Check-In at Select Locations to exclude locations from the feature.

The following customers will not be able to check in when this feature is enabled:

  • First-timers

    • Customers with a visit history at one studio location but are attending a different location for the first time CAN utilize Mobile Check-in.

  • Customers will not be able to check in with their guests.

  • Never made a reservation through the mobile app.

  • Their mobile app is not up to date.

  • Location-based services are not enabled on their mobile device.

Mobile Check-In Window

The Mobile Check-in window determines when customers can start checking in through their device and when it ends.

Contact support@marianatek.com to configure your Check-in windows.

Your studio's Mobile Check-in window can be configured past the class start time. For example, your studio may allow your customers to start checking themselves 20 minutes before class, and end 10 minutes past the class start time.

Items to consider when setting your Mobile Check-in window:

  • This window is not location-specific. When set or changed, it will apply to all studio locations.

  • This window will be applied to all classes, with no class override option.

  • Your no-show window should not overlap with the mobile Check-in window. If they do, customers could be charged a no-show fee before they have the opportunity to check in.

Mobile Check-In Settings at the Location Level

Go to Configuration > Locations > Edit Location for the needed location. In the location editor, click Location Settings and scroll to Mobile Check-In Settings.

Mobile Check-In Settings can be overridden at the location level by enabling or disabling them.

Enable Geofence if you'd like to allow customers to check themselves into class when they come within a certain distance of your studios.

Without Geofence enabled, your customers can check in from anywhere. Enabling Geofence is highly recommended.

Check-In Radius

If you have Geofence enabled, you can increase or decrease the radius in meters from which customers can check themselves into class. The default is 100 meters

Latitude and Longtitude

Geofence is based on the Latitude and Longitude of your studio location. To adjust them, open the location editor under Configuration > Locations > Edit Location > Location Details.

Here you can modify the Lat and Long.
