The Customer Conversion report, located in the Marketing section of reporting, provides key insights into customers who have converted at your business. A customer is considered converted in Mariana Tek if they have:
had at least one check-in and
purchased a full-priced class credit package or membership (and not priced at $0).
In order to appear in the Customer Conversion report, a customer must have entered the conversion funnel by having either:
a first check-in or
a full-price purchase of a credit package or membership or
converted by completing both actions within the chosen date range.
The Customer Conversion report is a snapshot of customer activity within the date range selected. For example, if you select the date range of November 1st to November 5th, you will see customers who have:
completed their first check-in during that time frame,
customers who have completed their first full price credit or membership purchase during that time frame, and
customers who have completed both actions during that time frame.
The ‘Converted Customer’ column in the report is ‘True’ for customers who have completed both actions: first check-in AND a full-price purchase of a credit package or membership within the specified date range. The column is ‘False’ if the customer has completed only one of those actions.
Continuing the example above, if a customer is checked in for their first class on November 2 and makes their first full-price purchase on November 7, the customer will appear to be an unconverted customer if the dates are set to November 1 through November 5 on the report. This is because the conversion date took place outside of the November 1 through November 5 date range. To get the overall picture of all your customers, you will want to set the date range for when your business first opened through today.
Filtering, Sorting and Turfing the Customer Conversion Report
The customer conversion report pulls in customers when either their first check-in or first full-price purchase of a credit or membership is in the date range selected
The report is sorted by Converted Customer (T/F), Active Locations (A → Z), then First Name (A → Z)
The report is turfed by Active Locations, so any user viewing the report will only see customers who have been to a location the user has turf in
Conversion Definitions
Conversion Funnel
A customer enters the conversion funnel when they
complete their first check-in or
when they complete a full-price (not discounted and not priced at $0) purchase of a class credit or membership.
Customer Conversion
A successful customer conversion is when a customer completes their first check-in AND the purchase of a full-price (non discounted and not priced at $0) purchase of a class credit or membership. Note that both the check-in AND the purchase must occur in the specified date range in order to be considered True. If the date range is extended, the window to be considered “converted” will also be longer and potentially result in more conversions being reported.
