The Attendance Log on a class roster will show you all activities within the class and who acted. This is useful to understand what has happened to a class and who did it. For example, if a customer says they canceled before the Late Cancellation Window but were still charged the penalty, you can check the Attendance Log to confirm when they canceled. Additionally, you can use the log to see which employee has changed reservations.
Here is information on each column in the Attendance Log:
Customer - Name on the reservation for which the action occurred
Date and Time - Timestamp of when the action occurred
Action - This is what happened to the reservation.
Spot Name - This is the spot that the customer has been assigned to or chosen when booking their reservation
Name - This displays the Broker Name which is the individual that performed the Action on the reservation. This could be the person who made the reservation or a studio employee. In some scenarios, the name is populated by the last person who made an action on the reservation.
Payment Used - The payment option used to book a reservation
Actions
Here is a list of the most common Actions that will appear in the Actions column of the Attendance Log:
Create reservation
Next to Create Reservation, if there is a Spot number associated with the reservation, the customer has secured a spot in class. If there is no spot number listed it means that the customer has been placed on the waitlist
Check-in - The customer has been checked into the class
Check out - The customer was checked into class but has been checked out of class
Mark as no-show - The studio has marked this customer as a no-show
Canceled reservation - The customer has canceled their reservation
Swap spot - The customer has swapped spots in the PAS layout
Cancel class - A studio employee has canceled the class
Assigned to spot - The customer was on the waitlist and has been bumped into the class
Permissions
For Employees to view the Attendance Log within a class, they will need the "can_broker_reservations" and "can_view_reservations" permissions applied to their role.
