The Employee Commissions report in Insights calculates commissions paid to staff on sales they processed within a particular date range. If you haven't applied Commission Pay Rates to your employees, click here to read more.
To access the report, log into Mariana Tek and go to Reports > Insights > Business Performance > Employee Commissions.
This report can be filtered by:
Date range β orders processed between the two dates (inclusive)
Location
Employee
Order Status β filter out refunded or partially refunded orders.
If an order is refunded, a negative commission value will be calculated
The first part of the report shows a breakdown for each location, the total number of orders, the pre-tax amount of those orders, and the commission payable.
Click on the arrows on each row to drill down into each location and then further to each employee to see the breakdown of their commission by product type.
The details section of the report details each order along with the item and the commission payable.
Both sections can be downloaded to Excel by clicking the download (arrow) icon at the top right of the section.
To avoid staff earning commission on selling items or membership to themselves, we set a $0.00 commission on any sale where the employee's name and the customer's name are the same. If the names do not match, the report will generate commissions, so we recommend paying attention to the details of the commission.
