Why can't I refund an order?

While most orders can be refunded through Mariana Tek, there are a few instances where a refund cannot be granted

While most orders can be refunded in Mariana Tek, there are some situations where the refund option will not be available:

  • Purchases that have already been settled by the bank (this typically occurs around 90 days after the transaction through Stripe)

  • Cash or credit package gift cards that have already been redeemed

    • Gift cards that have not been redeemed can be refunded

  • Memberships that are terminated or expired

  • Credit packages that have expired

  • Users without permission to process refunds

  • Orders that are currently in dispute with the customer’s bank

    • If a transaction is under dispute, refunds cannot be processed until the bank resolves the case. Mariana Tek does not control or have visibility into the dispute timeline.

If an order is not eligible for a refund, the refund option will not appear on the order.

If a customer requests a refund for a purchase made over the day-limit set by your payment processor, you have the option to refund the transaction to their account balance.
