How do I use the Class Utilization - Detailed report?

The Class Utilization - Detailed report surfaces information included in the Class Session Utilization Details report, as well as additional metrics, such as the total pending reservations per class

This report is useful for:

  • Viewing an overview of how the studio is doing by day, week, etc.

  • Analyzing how well a class time/instructor/class format is doing to make any schedule modifications.

  • Payroll purposes to see how many cancellations and penalties occurred.


Pulling up the Report

  1. Navigate to Reports from the left panel > Custom > Class Utilization - Detailed > View.

  2. Specify the date range from the date picker.

  3. Apply any additional filters and if necessary, export the data.


Understanding the Report

The Class Utilization - Detailed Report:

  1. Location: Studio location of the class.

  2. Class Date: Date of class.

  3. Class Time: Time of class.

  4. Class Day of Week: Monday-Sunday.

  5. Instructors

  6. Has Substitute?:

    • True = Yes

    • False = No

    • Blank = No instructor was added

  7. Classroom

  8. Class Type: Type of class (i.e., bootcamp, yoga, etc.).

  9. Total Pending Reservations: Total number of standard, waitlist, and standby reservations not checked in.

  10. Total Check-Ins & Penalties: Number of check-ins and penalties (no-show/late cancellation).

  11. Pending Standard Reservations: Number of standard reservations not checked in.

  12. Pending Standby Reservations: Number of standby reservations not checked in.

  13. Pending Waitlist Reservations: Number of waitlist reservations not checked in.

  14. Checked In Reservations: Number of checked-in reservations.

  15. Late Cancelled Reservations: Number of late cancellations.

  16. No-Showed Reservations: Number of no-shows.

  17. Admin Holds: Number of spots held by employees in the admin platform.

  18. Unavailable Holds: Number of spots made unavailable via the unavailable feature in the admin platform.

  19. Layout Capacity: The total number of reservations you can sell for the class.

  20. Actual Capacity: The actual number of reservations you can sell for the class (i.e. two spots are made unavailable due to broken machines).

  21. % Utilization: Percentage of number of check-ins/actual capacity.

  22. Class Session ID: Generated by the system.
