Here is a list of marketing Key Performance Indicators. Each KPI is grouped with the Report along with details. For each Report, make sure to filter by the desired date range.

Key Performance Indicator: Total Number of New Customers over a Given Period

Details: Select the date range for the period you are interested in and export the report. The total number of rows, excluding the header row, is the total number of new customers who created an account in that date range.

Report: First Timers

Key Performance Indicator: Total Number of First Timers over a Given Period

Details: Select the date range for the period you are interested in and export the report. The total number of rows, excluding the header row, is the total number of customers checked in for their first class during that date range.

Key Performance Indicator: Number of First Timers who have taken a Second Class

Details: Select the date range on the report for the specified period. This will show you every customer who has either taken their first class or purchased a full-price product. To see if the customer has taken a second class since their first, look at the Total Classes Taken column. If the column is greater than 1, this customer has taken more than just their first class in the date range. If the column is 1, that means they have only taken their first class. If the column is 0, that means they have only made a full-priced purchase but have taken 0 classes. If you export the report, filter the column Total Class Taken for anything greater than 1, and sum the rows that are left, you will have the number of first-timers who have taken a second class in the date range.

Key Performance Indicator: Total Number of Customers on Active Membership Contracts

Details: Select the date range for the period that you are interested in and export the report. Filter by Membership Status and sum those with the Active status.

Key Performance Indicator: Total # of Cancelled Memberships in the past month

Details: Filter the report by Current Membership Status - Cancelled. This will show you ALL canceled memberships. Export the report and filter on Last Status Change and select the date range for the past month in Excel. Sum the rows, excluding the header, and this will show you the total number of canceled memberships in the past month.

Key Performance Indicator: Number of New Memberships Sold

Details: Export the report to Excel. Filter the purchase date column for the date range you are looking for. Then, sum the row excluding the headers, and this shows you the total number of new memberships in the date range.

Key Performance Indicator: Total Number of Outstanding Credits

Details: Export the report and sum the column Credits Remaining. This will give you the total number of outstanding credits in the platform.

Key Performance Indicator: # of Customers who have not returned since their First Visit

Details: Select the date range and export to Excel. Filter the report by the column Total Check-Ins - All Time for customers with 1 check-in. This will show you every customer that has checked in during that date range but has only taken 1 class. If you sum the rows after you have filtered, you will be presented with the number of customers who have not returned since their first visit. It is helpful to look at the column called "Last Check-in" to see the date for each customer relative to the current date you are pulling in the report. That way, you can determine if it makes sense to reach out based on how much time has passed since their first visit and try to get the customer to return with either a special offer or general marketing outreach.
