How do I create an appointment?

Creating appointments

Appointments can be created and managed in Admin or the Biz App.

Permissions

Permissions can be configured on user roles to manage and create appointments.

User Role

Can_manage_general_availability

Bookings: Create, edit, delete, and view all appointments

Booking Actions: Mark as no show, check-in, cancel customer

Admin, Studio Owner, Studio Manager

Can_manage_own_availability

Bookings (Schedule): Create, edit, delete, and view own appointments only

Booking Actions: Mark as no show, check-in, cancel customer for own appointments only

Instructor (self-service)


Creating Appointment

Admin

Go to Schedule > Appointments > Add Event > Appointments.

Biz App

In the biz app, go to Schedule > + icon > Appointment.

In Admin or the Biz App, fill in the following fields and select Add Appointment:

  • Starts: Date and Time

    • The duration of the service will determine the end time.

  • Days of the week

  • Reccurrence Ends After: Number of appointments that occur before the series ends.

    • Example: If the appointment is set to weekly on Monday and Tuesday and the recurrence ends after 4 occurrences, the recurring appointment will last for two weeks.

  • Instructor: If an instructor isn't showing, it is because they are not assigned that service.

  • Room: The field will be greyed out if it is not required.

  • Customers: Use + Add Customer to add a customer.

    • The customer must have an applicable payment option for the service to be added.
