How can I send text messages to customers?

Sending SMS from the class roster or customer profile makes it easy for your team to quickly connect with clients. Whether it’s an urgent schedule update, a low-credit reminder, or a follow-up on a forgotten item, you can send messages directly without leaving the platform.

This feature requires your studio to be Twilio compliant within Xplor Growth.


Sending SMS

To send SMS from Mariana Tek, your user role must have the permission can_manage_sms.

Permission changes must be requested by a studio admin.

Class Roster

From the class roster, find the SMS button next to the customer reservation.


Customer Profile

From the customer profile, the SMS button is located at the top.

Click the SMS button > type your message > click Send.

There is a 1600-character limit. Emojis can be used, but they will use 70 characters. The text will be sent from your registered Xplor Growth number.

SMS messages can only be sent from the class roster or a customer’s profile.

Customers can reply to any message sent from Mariana Tek. To view replies or the full conversation history, select the Xplor Growth link to open your inbox.


Opt-Out Status

If a customer has opted out of SMS, the option will be greyed out.
