Can customers opt in/out of studio communications?

Customers can opt in and out of studio communications when creating their account and in their profile. Additionally, studio employees can do it from


Account Creation

When a customer creates an account, they can choose to opt in/out of studio communications. This includes:

  • Transactional Communications (SMS Only): This includes waitlist quickfill and upgrade SMS.

    • Once opted in, the only way to opt out is for the customer to text unsubscribe to the message.

    • At this time, if a customer opts out during account creation, they can't opt back in later.

  • Marketing Communications (Email and SMS)


Customer Profile

The customer can update their marketing communications from their customer profile, not transactional communications.

Website

From the website, navigate to Personal Information > Customer Communications > Edit Communication Settings > make the desired edits.

Mobile App

From the mobile app, navigate to Profile in the bottom-right corner > Notifications > Marketing > make the desired edits.


By a Studio Employee

Studio employees can update marketing communications from Mariana Tek or Xplor Growth, not transactional communications.

Mariana Tek

In Admin, navigate to the customer's profile > Personal Information > Edit Personal Information > Communication Settings > make the desired edits > Save.

Xplor Growth

In Xplor Growth, navigate to Contacts > search for and click into the client's profile > Options > Unsubscribe.

At this time, transactional SMS does not display in the customer profile for the customer or studio employee.
