How do I use the Payment Transactions by Payment Type report?

The Payment Transactions by Payment Type report surfaces a summary of a payment type's sum across all locations/for the filtered locations. This report is in UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).

This report is useful for:

  • Viewing the number of transactions by payment type.

  • Viewing which payment type is most popular for each location and across all locations.

Pulling up the Report

  1. Navigate to Reports from the left panel > Finance > Payment Transactions by Location > View.

  2. Specify the time frame from the date picker.

  3. Apply any additional filters.

Understanding the Report

The Payment Transactions by Payment Type report includes:

  1. Payment Type:

    1. Credit card

      • American Express

      • Visa

      • Discover

      • Mastercard

    2. Account Balance

      • Account Balance - Cash: Account balance with deferred revenue assigned

      • Account Balance - Complimentary: Account balance given complimentary by the studio

      • Account Balance - Migration: Account balance migrated to a customer's account upon platform migration

    3. Cash

    4. No Charge

  2. Transactions: Total number of transactions within the filtered date range.

  3. Collected

  4. Refunded

  5. Currency

  6. Total: Collected amount minus the refunded amount.
