The Primary Language assigned to a location determines the language used for displaying text on our Web Integrations, iOS (version 3.33+), and Android (version 1.28+) Consumer Apps. This takes effect if Mariana Tek can not support the language configured on their browser or phone.
The Default Language of a location sets the standard format for displaying dates, times, and numbers across all our MT products. This takes effect if Mariana Tek can not support the specific date, time, and number configurations chosen by the customer or employee on their browser or phone.
What will/will not be automatically translated?
The hard-coded content Mariana Tek writes will be translated such as ‘classes’, ‘book’, and ‘credit card’. All items your studio inputs or we can white glove will not be such as Class Types, Locations, Product Names, names of spots, etc.
Change Primary/Default Language
As an Admin, go to Configuration > Locations > Edit Location by the needed location.
On the Location Details tab, scroll until you find Primary and Default Language, and use the dropdown to make any changes.
We suggest that the Primary Language and Default Language should always match.
