Can you notify customers when my studio's booking window opens?

If your default booking window is interval-based, customers will receive a local push notification alerting them that the window is open.

Written by Jason Wiese

If your default booking window is interval-based, customers will receive a local push notification on their phone alerting them when the window opens at their home location. For example, if your booking window opens every Sunday at 1 p.m., customers will be notified when the window opens.

Customers must enable push notifications for your studio app to receive booking window alerts.

The message will be displayed as:

Title: Secure your spot!

Text: Classes now open for booking.

Clicking the local push notification takes the user to today's schedule in your mobile app. The message is not currently customizable.

Push notifications are not sent in the following scenarios:

  • If your default booking window is rolling

  • If your default is rolling, but certain booking window overrides are interval-based

Push notifications are only supported for default interval-based booking windows.
