Purchases made entirely with an account balance are not included in revenue-based fees.
When a payment method is split for a purchase, only the portion paid by credit card, cash, etc. is included in the revenue-based fee.
For example, if a client has a $50 account balance and purchases a $50 retail item, this order is not considered for revenue-based fees.
If a client has a $50 account balance and purchases $160 membership, only the $110 that is charged to the client's credit card is included towards the revenue based fee.
