Can locations manage their own membership and package pricing?

With permissions, HQ can grant pricing updates to individual locations.

By default, franchise studios must request pricing changes through Brand HQ. However, HQ Admins can request a role permission that allows users to update only the pricing of membership contracts and credit packages, limited to the locations their role has access to.


Request Permission Change

To request the change, submit a request to support or their onboarding specialist to add the permission can_manage_pricing to a specific role.

Permission changes must be requested by a studio admin.


Edit Price

This permission allows users to update only the pricing of membership contracts and credit packages, while enforcing strict location-based access controls.

  • Employees can edit the price of a membership or credit package only if they have access to all locations assigned to that contract or package.

  • If an employee’s location covers some, but not all, of the locations assigned to a contract or package, they cannot update the price.

  • If an employee has more locations than what is assigned to the contract or package, they can update the price.

  • The permission does not grant access to other attributes of the membership contract or credit package.

With the can_manage_pricing permission, the employee can go to Products > Membership/Credits > Contract/Package > select the location, and edit.

Price Edit Only

If the price can be edited, the contract/package will be marked as Price edit only, and all fields will be read-only except for price.

View Only

Contracts/Packages that the employee does not have access to will display View only.
