Can an appointment be made recurring?

Staff and Instructors can set appointments to repeat weekly or bi-weekly on a fixed cadence in admin and the Biz app. Recurring appointments will automatically generate all future occurrences, with built-in validation for availability, conflicts, and credits before bookings are confirmed.


Configuration

  • Reoccurrence: Weekly or bi-weekly

  • Days of the week

  • Reccurrence Ends After: Number of appointments that occur before the series ends.

    • Example: If the appointment is set to weekly on Monday and Tuesday and the recurrence ends after 4 occurrences, the recurring appointment will last for two weeks.


Validation

Pay With

To create the appointment, the selected customer will need enough credits on their package to fulfill the total occurrences. For example, if the customer has 10 credits but the appointment is set for 12 occurrences, the appointment can't be created.

The following error will display:

"Name" does not have enough credits in the selected payment option to cover all occurrences. Please adjust the recurrence or select a different payment option.

Recurring appointments cannot be split between multiple payment options.

Availabliity

If any of the occurrences have a schedule conflict because of class schedule, room availability, or instructor availability, the following prompt will be displayed.

You'll have the choice to go back and make edits or add to the schedule anyway.
