How can I set up a discount for customers whose accounts weren't migrated to Mariana Tek?

Create the discount, then ask Support to limit it to customers whose accounts weren’t migrated. This is useful for first timer offers after a migration.

In some scenarios, you may want to create a discount limited to customers who created an account on Mariana Tek rather than your previous platform.

For example, you migrated your customer accounts into Mariana Tek, but you did not migrate reservation history. Since historical reservations were not migrated into Mariana Tek, all your customers are classified as first timers in Mariana Tek. You'll want to configure a discount for non-migrated customers so that you're able to offer a first timer discount to them that migrated customers are unable to take advantage of.

To configure a discount limited to customers whose account was not migrated into Mariana Tek:

  1. Create the discount.

  2. Reach out to Support via chat in Admin or email at support@marianatek.com.

  3. Let us know the name of the discount you configured, and we'll finish the configuration to set it to non-migrated customers.
