When canceling a ClassPass reservation, we have one tip: Don't Do It!

Although you can technically cancel a ClassPass reservation out of your roster, (penalty or not) the customer will still be subject to ClassPass's cancellation policy.

Customers must cancel their ClassPass reservation in the ClassPass platform. ClassPass has its own policies and penalties around canceling reservations.

If you cancel a ClassPass customer out of class via the roster, the studio is still paid for the reservation as long as the ClassPass reservation remains intact on the ClassPass platform (i.e. the customer didn't cancel via ClassPass).


Canceling third-party reservations will provide inaccurate reporting.

If a ClassPass reservation is marked as a penalty in our system it will not be reflected in our Utilization by Class Session report, nor as a late cancel/no show in Payroll if instructors are paid for those late cancels/no shows.

It will be reflected as a “grace cancel or no show” in the Reservations report.
