How do I use the Utilization by Class Type report?

The Utilization by Class Type report surfaces utilization of each class type within the selected time frame.

This report is useful for:

  • Viewing the number of classes held for a specific class type.

  • Viewing the average attendance for a specific class type.

  • Viewing which class type has the most utilization.

Pulling up the Report

  1. Navigate to Reports from the left panel > Utilization > Utilization by Class Type > View.

  2. Specify the date range from the date picker.

  3. Apply any additional filters.

  4. Select Generate Report and, if necessary, export the data.

Understanding the Report

The Utilization by Class Type report includes 9 data fields:

  1. Class Type

  2. Pending + Check-In: Number of pending reservations and check-ins for the class type within the selected time frame.

  3. Utilization: The percentage of check-ins/capacity for the class type within the selected time frame.

  4. Penalty Cancel + Penalty No Show: Number of penalty cancellations and penalty no-shows for the class type within the selected time frame.

  5. Reservations + Penalties: Number of reservations and penalties for the class type within the selected time frame.

  6. Utilization w/Penalties: The percentage of (the number of check-ins + penalty no shows + penalty cancels) / capacity for the class type within the selected time frame.

  7. Capacity: The sum of the class type's class capacities for the chosen time frame.

  8. Number of Classes: Number of classes for the class type within the selected time frame.

  9. Average Attendance: Average number of attendance for the class type within the selected time frame.
